This is one of the quaintest street scenes I've found in my U.S. travels. This is Acorn Street in the Beacon Hill section of Boston. These were the residences of the household help that worked for the more well-to-do in their row houses built on old estates nearby. Now this is the one of the most sought after neighborhoods in Boston. Here, the sunlight perfectly illuminates the welcoming doorway at the end of the street. Don't you wonder who lives behind that door?
