After a long, late evening drive to shoot the sunrise over Zabriskie Point I headed into #Death_Valley's basin area. Death Valley was once a shallow #sea_bed as evidenced by the ubiquitous sandstone layers that surround you on your drive through the park. As I approached the basin I was fortunate to stumble on this odd set of #sandstone#bedding_planes that #seismic_activity seems to have tilted to a nearly 45 degree angle. I've never seen stone in this odd shade of #green.
