Does It Make A Sound?
The old question goes, "If a tree falls in the woods, does it make a sound?". If a tree screams it's final moan when it falls, that was all released long ago to the whispers of the forest.
This image was made in the Ancient Forest in the Sol Duc Valley of Olympic National Park where the cycle of life is in full roar. The park claims that there are trees in this area of the forest that were here when Columbus arrived in the Americas in 1492.
